CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course introduces statistical and operation methods appropriate to the hospitality industry, which include descriptive statistics, probability, correlation and regression, forecasting, decision analysis, quality control, and hotel yield management. Each method will be discussed using examples related to the hospitality industry. Learning Outcome： This course aims to introduce basic statistical and other analytical tools and concepts that are applicable to decision-making in various business settings. Emphases are on the understanding and application of these concepts. Students are expected to develop their ability to learn independently, and to learn/operate in a group environment. The instructor's role is to organize the learning materials, establish the macro framework of the learning materials/concepts so as to illustrate "the big picture", point out areas of emphasis and alternative considerations, motivate your learning, assist in your understanding of the materials, and assess your learning outcome.
