評價教學內容	#1 老師會用唔同的理論，配合Case Study，能夠了解輔導學生的基本原則及一些技巧。老師上堂都會成日同學生做Role Play.
評價教員教學	#1 老師好nice，亦好considerate。至於Grade就一般。
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course intends to provide for secondary school teachers an overview of the basic concepts of school guidance and counselling and their applications in the secondary school setting. Topics include: social and psychological perspectives and the need for school guidance and counselling, basic principles of guidance, goals and objectives of school guidance and counselling, qualification, roles and function of professional counsellor and guidance teacher, basic theories of counselling, individual and group counselling, and other contemporary trends and issues in the local context. In addition, the whole school approach, the therapeutic conditions and the counselling process are also introduced.   Learning Outcome： 1. Demonstrate an understanding of the basic goals, principles and objectives of school guidance and counselling.  2. Identify various roles and functions of teachers in school guidance and counselling.  3. Gain knowledge of major counselling theories and use them as a guide to understand the social and emotional needs of students.  4. Apply basic counselling skills and interventions to work with students and their families in dealing with students’ socioemotional issues.  5. Identify the conditions and counseling processes that are instrumental to growth and changes

評價教學內容	#1 老師從社會學的角度看學校制度，的確能為學生帶來一些思想的衝擊。課程能夠提出問題，而解決問題的方法，就要靠自己繼續思考。
評價教員教學	#1 老師幾寸，但都幾有料。好有原則，Grade唔太靚。
CUSIS科目資料	Description： Schooling is an integral part of modern society. As active participants and contributors of this modern institution, teachers should have a thorough understanding of their roles in school organization and process of schooling. This course is designed to facilitate understanding of school organization and the nature of this process. It explores the nature of school organization and important dimensions of the schooling process from different perspectives: (1) at classroom level, in the form of teacher-student interaction; (2) at organizational level, in the form of school structure and culture; (3) at societal level, in the form of socializing and stratifying mechanism; and (4) at cultural level, in the form of selection and transmission of knowledge.   Learning Outcome： 1. understand basic structures and processes of schooling in local and global context and enhance their roles as effective teachers in their workplace;  2. develop their understanding in the theory and practice of schools and functions of schools from various perspectives;  3. extend knowledge on educational policy and practice in Hong Kong by applying theoretical ideas from research; 4. learn to identify and critique education policies.

CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course employs a cross-disciplinary perspective to introduce important issues in supporting adolescents with special educational needs (SEN) in integrated school settings. First, we examine contemporary policy changes and controversies in special education and integration. We then discuss basic principles of identification and education of exceptional SEN adolescents. Curriculum and instructional issues will be deliberated. In particular, the types of SEN covered are Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD), Physical Disability (PD), Visual Impairment (VI), Hearing Impairment (HI), Language Impairment (LI), and Giftedness and Talents (GT). Developmental characteristics and needs of these students in secondary school years will be addressed, with a focus on enhancing teachers’ professional capacity in supporting them in the regular classroom. Learning Outcome： 1. Have an understanding of contemporary policies related to special education and integration 2. Acquire basic knowledge of various types of special-needs adolescents 3. Develop relevant support strategies to facilitate student development and enhance learning in secondary school years 4. Critically reflect on current issues related to the education of students with special educational needs
