#1 讀左M2呢個course唔難 #2 都幾難，要有 M1/2 底, 但係有都唔一定會識，但係都有趣的, 學到 calculus computational skills 同埋 窺看到 mathematicians prove 野的 logic．Workload 大，有四份好長的 homework, 10 份短的 Coursework, 2 個 midterms, 同埋 final.

#1 講書幾fun但有時講得亂亂地 #2 Presentation 清晰, 英文好聽, email 問問題會再寫多份 document 去解析, 但係 syllabus 好多野無教到, 上堂的例題亦淺過功課同埋考試好多, 要讀 main notes 自學翻, 且教得慢, sem 尾要補課.

This course is designed for students who need to acquire the
knowledge and skills of one-variable calculus at a general level for the
studies in science or engineering. The
course places special emphasis on the theoretical foundations as well as the
methods and techniques of computation and their applications.
Learning
Outcome：
Students are
able to:
• Define and
distinguish the usual concepts used in one variable calculus
• Logically
prove basic statements in one variable calculus
• Calculate
various differential quantities and solve problems using one variable
calculus
• Apply the
methods of one variable calculus to standard problems in physics,
engineering, or business economics
• Appreciate
the rationale and impact of one variable calculus to human development in
science and technology.

Description：
This course is designed
for engineering students who need to acquire skills in calculus as a crash
introduction to the mathematics used in engineering. The course emphasizes on the technique of
computation without theoretical discussion.
Students are expected to have mathematics background equivalent to
HKDSE with Extended Module I or II.
Learning
Outcome：
Students will
have the ability to operate on one-variable Calculus in the context of
engineering. They will also have an exposure to the notations and formulas of
multiple variable Calculus which are commonly seen in engineering.
