評價教學內容	#1  基本做實驗嘅技術，做嘅就唔難，最chur嘅係每次上lab之前要做好一份pre-lab，完咗之後要交lab report，lab report基本上得一日時間做，而呢一個course係每一個星期都有lab嘅
評價教員教學	#1  基本上都係重複實驗嘅重點which is provided on Blackboard 如果遇到好ta會提醒下你，唔會話特登扣你分，有啲ta唔知點解做錯就會鬧你/笑鳩你（明明係introductory lab course）
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This laboratory course will provide hand-on experience and practical demonstration to students in basic and essential techniques in Life Sciences, including bacterial cultures and aseptic techniques, use of microscopes, staining and sectioning techniques for microscopes, western blot analysis, preparing buffer solution, basic spectroscopic techniques, enzyme assay and polymerase chain reaction.   Learning Outcome： 1. To learn the basic techniques of Cell Biology and Biochemistry. 2. To understand the principles of various Cell Biology and Biochemistry techniques. 3. To know how to apply these techniques in future experiments to solve problems.

CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course aims at deciphering how the discoveries by the work of some famous scientists in the field of life sciences has affected our daily life and our society. The course first provides students with the general knowledge of some basic processes in life, followed by how this knowledge has helped us to cope with the natural adversities such as diseases. The improvements of our quality of life by the biotechnological advances and how the development in life sciences has revolutionized our lives in life sciences will also be discussed. Finally, how the development in life sciences has brought revolutionizing impacts on our lives, civilization, and modernization will be presented. Through a series of learning activities, students are encouraged to comprehend and to connect the discoveries in life sciences to daily scenarios. This course is particularly suitable for students who are not life-science or medicine majors and who want to understand more on how discoveries in life sciences have transformed the way we think and live throughout the centuries. Learning Outcome： After taking this course, students are expected to be able to: -          recognize how life sciences can benefit our daily life -          comprehend basic knowledge in life sciences -          analyze and comment on the issues related to life sciences, for example, test tube babies and cloning in life sciences -          develop practical skills in communication and critical thinking through different types of learning activities -          gain learning methodologies that promote life-long learning in life science subjects
