評價教學內容	#1 唔算太有趣, 著重多啲以前嘅中國社會, 而少啲喺現代嘅中國社會 Book report 要喺3個星期做 ~6頁 (只講明頁數, 冇講字數), 而且sem 尾先交, 所以感覺上sem 頭會好輕鬆但sem 尾就好緊 Final exam 雖然題目就經常都出返以往幾年出過嘅, 但冇清楚指引需要寫幾多同埋作答嘅方向係點
評價教員教學	#1 講野還可以嘅, 上堂只會派outline, 多數重要解釋只用白板寫出嚟
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course compares and contrasts traditional Chinese society and its modern development. In addition, it also seeks to understand and explain the transition between these two contrasting stages. The course will be organized along the line of the “from tradition to modernity” thesis, by way of which the institutional and cultural development in Chinese society can be re-examined in a comprehensive light, encompassing both their traditional formation and modern transformation. Learning Outcome： The present course is expected to achieve the following learning outcomes: 1.       A comprehensive and integrating perspective regarding social and cultural development in China. 2.       Essential knowledge and data regarding both traditional and modern China. 3.       Application of conceptual tools to a concrete case of societal transformation. 4.       Setting the foundation and backdrop for understanding events and development in China today. 5.       Rethinking and reviewing the relevance of tradition in the modernization of Chinese society.
