評價教學內容	#1 中文基本語言結構、方言（或者咁講variation）、(local) pop culture、語言規範、pragmatics、咩都會講啲。因為同clce double code，所以會好多international同學reg，堂上討論都會著重同其他文化（例如英文）嘅異同。每堂都有discussion，同下唔同地方嚟嘅同學討論下文化語言差異係幾開心。（雖然係讀中文嘢，不過個教學語言係英文。寫紙同present要用英文）

CUSIS科目資料	Description： This is a knowledge-based course introducing Chinese language and culture. The course is designed for CUHK students (both native and non-native Chinese) who are interested in Chinese language and culture; Contents included theories and applications concerning Chinese language and culture; theories, practices and situations of teaching and learning Chinese as a second language (including Putonghua and Cantonese learning); the importance of culture in Chinese as a second language; and the language policies and its use in Hong Kong and in Mainland China. Learning Outcome： Students are expected to: 1. acquire some basic knowledge about Chinese language varieties and recognize their relationship to Chinese culture. 2. be able to develop critical mind in evaluating and appreciating Chinese language and its associated cultures. 3. be able to understand major discourses about language situations and related cultural issues in Hong Kong and in Mainland China. 4. be able to discuss some foundation theories and practices in teaching and learning Chinese as a second language.
