評價教學內容

#1 對於初學者黎講唔會好難,柔軟度唔夠嘅人都可以做到,cap人恩物。不過呢個係英文班,有機會會有non-local同你上堂,notes個啲都係英文,英文唔好嘅人要留意返。同埋每堂要自己帶Yoga mat. 要寫2practice log,記錄自己平時練習同埋要寫對人生嘅領悟(Yoga呢科好多人爭,reg科嘅時候要留意。同埋雖然呢個班係男女混合,但係上呢個班嘅大多數都係女。)

Description

This course is offered as one of the courses under the Elective Physical Education Programme. It aims at developing student’s knowledge and basic skills of yoga for physical activities participation. Practicing yoga can help students to train their mind (including concentration and relaxation) and achieve physical fitness (including flexibility and muscular strength). Moreover, this course will encourage students to have lifelong participation in yoga. Contents of the course include: basic asana of yoga, benefits of practicing yoga, yoga related fitness and establishing a positive attitude towards sports participation, etc.

 

Learning Outcome

At the end of the course, students are able to: 

1. demonstrate the basic asana of yoga in a correct and safe way;

2. acquire with the basic terminology, use of yoga props;

3. manage to plan a sequence of asana for practicing in accordance with the basic principles;

4. experience the essence of “mind, body and soul” in practicing yoga through personal practice and reflection; 

5. demonstrate positive attitudes and values toward sports participation.
