Description： This course
aims to provide a general understanding of traditional Chinese culture. It
covers the following core topics: characteristics of Chinese culture; Chinese
thought; and Chinese political, social, and economic life. Other topics may
also be covered, such as Chinese religion, science and technology in
traditional China, the Chinese intelligentsia, and so on. Learning
Outcome： l Identify the main characteristics of
traditional Chinese culture. l Appraise Chinese culture. l Reflect on the future of Chinese culture in
contemporary world l Engage in critical discussion concerning the
future of Chinese culture. |
