CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course is a general introduction to the theory of the determination of national income and aggregate economic behaviour. Topics include national income accounting, unemployment, inflation, monetary and fiscal policies for economic stabilization, and international economic issues. Applications of basic macroeconomic principles to contemporary business issues are emphasized. Learning Outcome： After completing this course, students should be able to understand, explain and apply: (1) Economic variables such as gross national product (GNP), gross domestic product (GDP), consumer price index (CPI), unemployment rate, and economic growth rate. (2) Economic models that explain the business cycles. (3) The role of banking sector, the creation of money, the role of central bank and its impact on monetary policy. (4) The long-run and short-run aggregate supply (AS) and aggregate demand (AD). (5) The role of government and effects of fiscal policy. (6) The international economy in the context of foreign exchanges and balance of payments (BOP).

評價教學內容	#1 還好 #2   Workload is low #3 唔太深, 同DSE econ有啲重疊, 無讀過econ pick up會有少少吃力, 不過都有啲新野, 所以即使讀過都要聽返
評價教員教學	#1 英文好難聽得明，耳朵受罪 #2   her english is bad but dun take attendance #3 口音有少少重......不過都叫聽得明既; 講野偏悶, 不過好樂意答你問題; 出既mid term比較淺, 不過final會有少少深; 幾建議有讀過dse econ既人讀, 會輕鬆多啲(不過無讀過dse econ又要聽佢上堂會有啲吃力......)
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course is a general introduction to the theory of price in a market economy. Topics include basic economic concepts, the theory of demand, production and cost, the operation of firms in competitive, oligopolistic and monopolistic markets, costs and benefits of government intervention in market economy, and introduction to game theory and informational economics. Analytical approach is used whenever appropriate. Applications on practical business problems are emphasized. Learning Outcome： After completing this course, students should be able to understand, explain and identify the followings: (1) Basic concepts of scarcity, opportunity cost, demand and supply mechanisms and their applications to the business world. (2) The factors that determine the market demand and their effects by the concept of elasticity. (3) The factors that determine the market supply, the relationship between production function and costs of production. (4) The different market structures (i.e., perfect competition, monopoly and oligopoly) and relate them to the conduct of a firm and performance of the industry. (5) The market failure and their remedies.
