評價教學內容	#1  1.内容涵蓋中國上古至近代歷史 2.到第五堂開始由同學授課 (翻轉教室)，每堂由兩組同學就該堂主題報告 (多數會超時) 3.第五堂開始課堂質素非常不穩定,由報告同學的質素決定 4.功課包括書評及兩次網上討論300-500字

評價教學內容	#1  公眾史學的起源、發展同實際例子，每個禮拜有唔同主題，有實地考察(可選)。tutorial分組人數較多，強烈建議慎選組員，否則容易起衝突；期末論文要求同學自訂題目，内容需要同公眾史學有關聯

CUSIS科目資料	Description： The field of public history has been expanding so rapidly since its inception in the 1970s that even public historians find it difficult to agree on a precise definition for public history. This course adopts a broad definition, which seeks to understand public history as a discipline in which historians practice history with a public audience in mind, and as a medium through which the general public acquire a sense of the past. Major topics examined in this course include museums, heritage, films, public monuments and tourism, etc. Local and global examples are used.   Learning Outcome： 1. understand the roles history and historians play in various public settings in Hong Kong and in other countries 2. analyze the popular use of history in everyday life 3. gain awareness of the ethical concerns within the discipline of public history
