CUSIS科目資料	Description： The field of public history has been expanding so rapidly since its inception in the 1970s that even public historians find it difficult to agree on a precise definition for public history. This course adopts a broad definition, which seeks to understand public history as a discipline in which historians practice history with a public audience in mind, and as a medium through which the general public acquire a sense of the past. Major topics examined in this course include museums, heritage, films, public monuments and tourism, etc. Local and global examples are used.   Learning Outcome： 1. understand the roles history and historians play in various public settings in Hong Kong and in other countries 2. analyze the popular use of history in everyday life 3. gain awareness of the ethical concerns within the discipline of public history

評價教學內容	#1 教下宗教同性別既野。其實係幾有趣，大部分講中國信仰(女鬼、女神、祖先)，又會講下日本既水子供養、印度、基督教等等，好多都會連繫到女性係宗教既角色同社會地會，都值得一上。同埋有好多教授親身影既evidence！ 同學表示唔關歷史事很難，但係我覺得有趣既，學緊人地文化，亦都係學緊一啲明明大家知，但係又唔會深入了解既神鬼。 但係就會比較chur，tut有四堂，每堂都要睇文同討論，同埋要交2篇short essay 2000字的(tut1/2交一篇文；3/4又交一篇)，最後交term essay (8000-10000字)，如果一個學期讀佢2科，真係上都上死你，啲文輪住黎虐待你。 #2  認識不同外國宗教
評價教員教學	#1 有料黎教授，好人類學既教授，我個人幾鐘意。佢會講好多資訊，真係學習科黎。唯一唔太好就係份notes既資料會係咁跳黎跳去，所以有時都搞到好亂，但是學到野的。教授個人就唔會1999既，係份notes姐。 佢比既term paper comment都實用的！ #2    上堂唔比用手機,但可以用電腦
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course demonstrates critically how the gender perspective as an important new academic paradigm challenges the mainstream historical analysis and explanation and influences feminist historiography. Topics may vary from year to year based on the respective teacher's research specialization in women's/Gender History of China, Asia, or the West. Learning Outcome： 修畢本科後，學生當能： 1. 認識性別史對主流歷史分析和解釋的挑戰，及對女性主義史學的影響。 2. 了解任教老師按其研究專長定出的婦女/ 性別史專題內容。 3. 掌握以上有關歷史課題的性別觀，從兩性權力關係及其歷史語境的複雜性切入，對重要問題作出批判分析。 4. 透過對有關論著的闡釋研讀，引發概念、方法、史料、論述等方面的反思。 5. 對有關歷史課題作口頭和文字報告。 6. 在作業中展示對婦女/ 性別史課題的綜合、說明和解釋能力以及研究潛力。
