The course emphasizes the fundamental principles, reasoning of mathematics and also applications, but generality instead of particular usage will be the focus.   Learning Outcome： Students are able to -  define and distinguish the usual concepts used in linear algebra -  logically prove basic statements in linear algebra -  solve problems using linear algebra, including those in an abstract setting -  apply the methods of linear algebra to standard problems in physics, engineering, or business economics -  appreciate the rationale and impact of linear algebra to human development in science and technology

評價教員教學	#1 佢好鐘意講理論instead of實際操作 真係要數底好好 先可以聽得明佢講乜(仲要考試都唔係考晒嗰啲 例如又講到四維 五維空間但係都唔考) 同埋佢可能本來好叻 佢唔get點解其他人唔明某啲嘢 所以你再叫佢解釋可能都難幫到你 如果唔係好勁嘅 而有得揀其他staff 唔推介呢個 lily pan同chan hiu ning解釋都會比較好
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course is designed for students who wish to specialize in mathematics related financial studies. It is especially suitable for those who have a mathematics background similar to that of HKDSE Mathematics Extended Module I or II. The students are to acquire further cognition and stronger skills from their original training. It leads to the command of knowledge and operation of higher algebra. By this course, the students will have a smooth transition into studying the essential mathematics for financial studies.   Learning Outcome： Students are able to:  • Write mathematical argument inductively and deductively  • Perform matrix operations, calculate determinants, find inverses and solve equations in such context  • Perform usual work involving partial differentiation and multiple integrals  • Appreciate the rationale and impact of pure mathematics to human development in business and technology.
