評價教學內容	#1 教危機管理的方法，如何判斷一件事是否危機 (crisis)，workload不少，要做兩次presentation,一份group paper，一份individual paper，難做的地方在於要搵新case去做。
評價教員教學	#1 Kaman 好有心機介紹好多case study，有問必答，對學生要求高
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course discusses theories and applications of crisis management and governance in the public service sector. It will also focus on how professionals in the public sector can reduce risks, get prepared, respond to and recover from crises for providing good governance.   Learning Outcome： By the conclusion of the course, students should have developed a deeper understand- ing and enhanced appreciation of crisis management concepts that could be brought to practice in real cases. In particular, the students are expected to have attained the following knowledge by the end of the course: -          A solid theoretical and practical base for studying and analyzing crisis phenome- na. -          Application of theoretical and practical skills to convey effective messages in crisis contexts. -          Analytical thinking to dissect crisis cases and to identify good and bad strategies. -          Recognition of potential ethical and legal problems in crisis management. -          Be able to engage in multi-thinking and multi-tasking in a crisis. -          Be able to know how to prevent/ minimize a crisis from happening. -          Be able to conduct a crisis prevention/ management and post-crisis management plan.

評價教學內容	#1 主要教環保政策的制定過程，方法，例如cost-benefit analysis, discount rate，但workload 都好重下，要寫1000 words proposal + 5000 words report + self-made 15 mins 錄影presentation。內容都比較悶，要好用心聽。閱讀材料超多。 #2 呢科係一course兩制，由兩個教授輪流教，視乎係揀嘅題目係傾向定質定係定量，評分可能會有唔公平的地方。因為兩者的背景同口味都好唔一樣。教學的內容，Xu Yuan就教得比較一舊舊，econ野多，尤其是cost benefit analysis，唔想計數唔好take 呢科。Lam Kin Che就傾向政策多D，但有時就講好多無關主題嘅野，會聽到好悶，同埋講D野就對學習冇太大幫助。（功課係一份proposal，一份5000字report，一個ppt 錄影的15 mins Presentation ，如果被分到Lam Kin Che，記得強調自己用過Google scholar，唔係嘅話就會喺proposal比人kill。整體嚟講兩者都未必會好grade，因為要求都好高下。以往攞到A嘅都去左牛津讀書的。）
評價教員教學	#1 Prof. XU Yuan 教得比較清晰，但內容有時較深，未必會第一時間明，Prof . Lam Kin Che就好強調要用google scholar #2 Xu Yuan上落堂會好準時，Lam Kin Che就多數會Overrun最少半個鐘，兩個教書都係一般。
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course introduces students to the fundamental concept of the environmental policy cycle in the context of the institutional setup, political ecology and advocacy of various stakeholders. The key considerations in environmental policy-making will be examined and appropriateness of different policy instruments in different context will be discussed. Students will be asked to discuss examples of current policies or policy instruments, in Hong Kong, China and the world.   Learning Outcome： At the end of the course, students are expected to be: (a) conversant with the environmental policy cycle and its complexity; (b) able to analyze and critique policies; (c) capable of choosing appropriate policy instruments; and (d) familiar with the dynamics of the environmental movement and pursuit for sustainability.

評價教學內容	#1教public governance的方法，主要從內地環保問題作視角分析。(看course outline 會發現很多workload，但其實不太困難，因此不要被course outline 的workload誤以為會讀得很辛苦。)
評價教員教學	#1 Dr. He 教學清晰，有問必答，很好人
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course analyses the relationship between public policy and governance in a rapidly changing world. It gives a general picture of contextual challenges confronting contemporary governments in forming and implementing public policies and discusses the ways in which governments have attempted to cope with these contextual changes and challenges, and how governance theories in public administration and more broadly political science have been developed to study the evolving modes of policy-making since the early 1990s.   Learning Outcome： 1) To demonstrate an awareness of the fact that the environment in which governments make policies and organise the society has substantially changed; 2) To understand the changing mechanisms for governing in the recent decade and the impacts they bring about;  3) To reflect on both local and international cases and consider how they can contribute to a better understanding of public policy and administration in Hong Kong; and  4) To identity governing problems in the world and how the shared experience can help combat common governing problems faced by different governments.
