評價教學內容	#1 基本上講一次規劃要考慮啲乜嘢（前半）同埋過程（後半）係點樣，但係其實個重點都係想大家試下做個 plan 出嚟。學期中做嘅 place audit 基本上都係愛嚟預備 project，而個 project 嘅走向基本上就係要跟教咗嘅嘢去做，所以後半應該會 chur 過普通1字頭 course 少少。
評價教員教學	#1 Mee Kam 不嬲都係教得正常，有趣嘅位通常都係會攞啲以往同埋好近嘅例子去講。Guide project 同畀 feedback 都好有用同有問必答，email 都覆得好快。
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course aims to develop a basic level of spatial planning literacy among urban studies students. The course is divided into three modules: contemporary issues in spatial planning, the history and evolution of spatial planning and spatial planning as a process; and contemporary issues in spatial planning. Through various case studies, the course sensitizes students to various pertinent spatial planning issues in the specific institutional and legal context of Hong Kong.   Learning Outcome： After taking this course, students are expected to: 1. To develop a basic level of spatial planning literacy for life-long learning, appreciation and contribution to the urban realm. 2. To develop skills in conducting a spatial planning process. 3. To differentiate and critique good planning processes and outcomes from less desirable ones. 4. To develop a capacity to contribute creatively to sustainable spatial planning and development.

CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course examines the historical evolution of urban spaces from a cross-cultural perspective. The course discusses the importance of cities to the economic, cultural, and political well-being of modern societies and examines how forces such as industrialization, globalization and urbanization, among others, have affected the structure and functions of cities. Seminal theories and recent discourses in urban studies are discussed to examine how and why cities develop and change and the various roles stakeholders have played in the course of urban developments. Learning Outcome： After taking this course, students should be able to: 1. Compare and contrast different schools of thoughts in analyzing and explaining urban developments; 2. Identify the specificities of urban development in Hong Kong vis-à-vis urban studies theories generated from other urban contexts; 3. Evaluate the roles of the state, the market and civil society in shaping urban transformations;  4. Identify the key elements of urban form and the forces of its transformation; and 5. Develop independent and critical thinking in applying theories to analyse concrete urban phenomena.

評價教學內容	#1有啲深，要專心上堂 #2 好多 content，每次上完堂都feel都個腦要爆，絕對唔易消化。呢個 course 可謂顛覆之前所學，引入較多社會學、政治學、哲學理論去討論規劃嘅本質同道德問題。如果真係鍾意規劃噉你會好鍾意，唔鍾意就祝你好運。
評價教員教學	#1學到嘢。Prof對presentation同literature seminar有啲要求，有啲難湍測佢想要啲咩，不過真係學到嘢，另外「遲到者死！」 #2 因為真係太多 content 所以每堂都 overrun，有時會講得太急。另外40分鐘 presentation 點做要約佢傾，否則會做錯。
CUSIS科目資料	Description： This course aims to engage students to critically reflect on urban planning theories and practices as processes shaped by different stakeholders in varying institutional settings. Students are encouraged to compare and contrast various planning theories and their implications for the possible value positions and practical actions by the government, the market and the civil society groups in the planning process. They are expected to apply the theoretical perspectives to analyse and evaluate existing planning practices and suggest ways to improve them. Learning Outcome： After taking this course, students are expected: •To compare and contrast the various approaches to interpret the functions of urban planning and their implications on the roles of the government, the market and the civil society in the planning process; •To identify and reflect on the value and theoretical issues involved in the distribution of resources through urban planning within an institutional setting; and •To recognize the importance of urban planning theories and the formulation of their own value positions in evaluating the actually existing urban planning mechanisms and in guiding practices.
