Description： This course is
designed to enhance the overall proficiency of second-year students in the
Faculty of Science in written and spoken communications. Learning topics
include expository writing skills, impromptu speaking skills, and oral
presentation skills. Coursework consists of practices in writing for academic
purposes, expository writing tasks, and presentation work. For Year 2
students of Faculty of Science only. Learning
Outcome： By the end of
this course, students will be able to: 1. use
expository writing skills effectively; 2. express
thoughts and opinions clearly and concisely in impromptu speeches, and 3. give
presentations for general and academic purposes effectively. |
