#1 主要都係幫大家練下講嘢,有趣過 pre-assigned 啲大英太多了,極力推薦。我嗰班有十幾個 speaking 一般嘅中文系,全部人都保 B+,但係要 A 就要一開頭都要 prep 得好了。對我嚟講最大得著唔係講嘢冇咁1999,反而係點樣 prep 好 ppt lol |

Description: The course aims
to save long-suffering students and teachers from boring academic
presentations by inspiring students to speak and present more like TED. The
course adopts a learning-by-doing approach: students are expected to come to
class prepared to share their critical analyses of TED talks and present
ideas in their respective academic discipline. More importantly, students
should be prepared to try out alternative ways of presenting which may not
conform to the presentation norms in their discipline. Students will teach
each other by: a) analyzing the content, delivery, language, design and use of visuals in TED talks; b) presenting their critical analyses in class; c) applying the results of the analyses in mini-presentations; d) creating strategies to deal with
discipline-specific norms; and e) evaluating and giving feedback to each other. Learning
Outcome: By the end of
this course, students who have worked conscientiously should be able to: a) establish
genuine eye contact and rapport with the audience; b) present a
well-researched idea with both reason and emotion; c) deliver
words with varying speed, volume and pitch; and d) design and
use visual aids to maximum effect. |
