Description: This course
aims to further train students' analytical and creative abilities, and
cultivate their aesthetic awareness based on their existing Chinese language
foundation. The course
focuses on analyzing classics, which enables students to appreciate the
aesthetics of literature and improve their analytical and appreciation
abilities. Simultaneously, daily language phenomena are discussed to enhance
students' language sensitivity. The course
includes various types of writing exercises to strengthen students' writing
skills, which would enable them to express their creativeness and thoughts. Students should
complete this course within the first two years of their studies. Learning
Outcome: Upon completion
of this course, students should be able to: 1. improve
their language ability by increasing their understanding of daily language
phenomena and analyzing the rules of language phenomena. 2. understand
the humanistic thinking of classic through intensive reading, identify the
main information of the text and respond to the author's aesthetic attitude. 3. improve
their expression and writing skills through systematic writing exercises to
write creative works. 4. participate
in self-learning activities and improve their self-learning language ability. |
